Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and your visit, including:

Information You Provide

If you join a waitlist, subscribe to updates, contact us, or purchase a product, we may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address and message contents. The HRV interpreter does not send your HRV value, resting heart rate, or recovery context to our email provider.

Device-Local HRV History

The HRV interpreter can save up to 30 readings with their dates, selected device, and interpretation label in local browser storage so you can compare readings from the same device with your personal seven-day baseline. These saved details stay in your browser and are not sent to MyHRV servers or analytics. You can delete one saved reading or clear all saved readings inside the interpreter. Clearing browser site data also removes them.

When a browser that already has a saved reading adds another reading, we may record an aggregate repeat-interaction event. That event includes the interpreter source, source page and entry location when available, selected device, and a coarse saved-reading count band. It does not include HRV values, reading dates, resting heart rate values, recovery context, email addresses, or a user-level reading history.

When a returning browser reaches three saved readings from the same device within seven days, we may also record an aggregate Baseline-unlock event. That event includes only the interpreter source, source page and entry location when available, selected device, and a fixed experiment label. It does not include the readings, dates, average, range, email address, or a user-level history.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Analyze website traffic and usage patterns to improve our content and user experience
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of our Site
  • Identify and fix technical issues
  • Understand which content resonates with our audience
  • Send waitlist updates and product or service updates when you choose to subscribe

Analytics data is typically retained in aggregate form and does not identify individual users. Device-local HRV history remains in your browser until you delete it, clear all saved readings, or clear browser site data. If you subscribe to email updates or a waitlist, we retain your email subscription record until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we collect. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
